Local Boys Volleyball Teams Gear Up for CIF Playoffs
The CIF Southern Section has announced its boys volleyball playoff brackets as teams prepare for a thrilling championship run. Notably, in Division 2, the fifth-seeded West Ranch will face El Segundo, an at-large Bay League team, on Wednesday. Despite El Segundo’s height advantage, West Ranch, with a record of 30-4, is optimistic following a strong regular season.
In Division 3, Canyon will compete against San Marino on Tuesday. Both teams are on winning streaks, with Canyon (29-8) looking for its first playoff win in three years, while San Marino (26-4) aims to overcome last year’s championship loss.
