Stagecoach Festival Sizzles with Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse
INDIO, CA – The Stagecoach Country Music Festival, renowned for attracting top musical talent, has also become a culinary hotspot thanks to celebrity chef Guy Fieri. A fixture since 2018, Fieri runs the popular "Guy Fieri’s Stagecoach Smokehouse," where festival-goers flock for his unique cooking demonstrations featuring BBQ and celebrity guests.
As Day 1 of the festival kicked off on April 25, Fieri was found tending to an impressive 750-pound cow roasting for 26 hours over mesquite and cedar. Fans eagerly sought his signature, including U.S. Marine Corps veteran Mike Harris, who presented Fieri with a challenge coin for Toys for Tots, receiving one from the Guy Fieri Foundation in return.
Fieri’s engaging cooking demos, which typically feature country music stars, create a lively atmosphere. On the second day, a showdown between Jelly Roll and Shaboozey attracted significant crowds. The competition, which involved creating loaded baked potatoes, showcased teamwork as the stars were assisted by Fieri’s sons and family.
In declaring Jelly Roll the unofficial winner, Fieri emphasized the importance of honoring veterans, stating, “Freedom ain’t free.” The festival continues to thrive, blending music and culinary passions through Fieri’s charismatic presence.
