Press Release: Pizza City Fest Los Angeles Returns Amid Wildfire Waves of Support
Los Angeles, CA—In a generous display of community spirit, local pizzamakers are coming together to support wildfire relief efforts during the third annual Pizza City Fest Los Angeles, scheduled for April 26-27 at L.A. Live. This year’s festival, featuring 40 pizzerias including Triple Beam Pizza and Pie Trap Pizza, highlights how the local pizza community has rallied to help those affected by the recent Palisades and Eaton wildfires.
Juan Robles, executive chef at Triple Beam, credits the festival’s founder, Steve Dolinsky, for fostering a close-knit network of pizzaiolos through pizza-making celebrations. “We started as strangers, but through this event, we formed the L.A. Pizza Alliance,” Robles explains. Pizzamakers quickly mobilized to provide meals for those in need, collectively dispatching over 300 pizzas to affected areas.
Participants can enjoy unlimited pizza tastings, engaging demos, and panels throughout the weekend. "We just wanted to bring smiles amid the chaos," said Paul Cody from Pie Trap Pizza. Tickets are available at lalive.com/pizza-city-fest-la. This festival not only celebrates culinary artistry but also underscores the vital role of community in times of crisis.
