Westside Disaster Relief Resource Fair Scheduled for April 27

Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles County Assessor Jeff Prang and City Councilmember Traci Park will host an in-person Westside Disaster Relief Resource Fair this Sunday, April 27, at the Los Angeles Airport Police Facility. The event aims to support individuals affected by the recent Palisades and Eaton Fires, providing crucial information on disaster relief programs.

From 9 a.m. to noon, attendees can learn about property tax relief options and services available for those impacted by natural disasters. Assessor Prang, Councilmember Park, and experts from various city and county departments will provide updates on property tax relief, including Misfortune and Calamity claims, and offer guidance on navigating property ownership challenges.

“This Resource Fair will focus on disaster relief programs for those impacted by wildfires, as well as other essential services,” Prang stated, encouraging early registration due to increasing interest.

The fair will take place at 9160 Loyola Blvd., Los Angeles, 90045. Registration is free and can be completed online at assessor.lacounty.gov/events.
