Pennsylvania Institute of Technology in Upper Providence recently celebrated the graduation of 96 students during its spring commencement ceremony. Laura Brady, an inspiring student from Delaware County, was named valedictorian for her exceptional academic achievements in the medical diagnostic program. Brady encouraged her fellow graduates to have an “elite mindset” as they begin their new careers.
In addition to Brady, two class salutatorians were recognized, including Annie Lipkin and Patricia Combs. The President’s Award was presented to Aloni Medley, who was described as a dedicated nursing student with a bright presence on campus. Camryn Alizah Robinson received the Founder’s Award for her resilience and determination in pursuing her education despite facing challenges.
The ceremony also included program awards for outstanding students in various fields. More than 500 people attended the event, with many family members traveling to show their support for the graduates. PIT, founded in 1953, has seen significant enrollment growth in recent years thanks to its mission to provide outstanding learning experiences and financial aid opportunities.
During the ceremony, graduates shared their stories of perseverance and determination in achieving their educational goals. The event was a testament to the dedication and hard work of the students, as well as the support of their families. As the graduates move forward into their careers, they are reminded to maintain an “elite mindset” and continue striving for excellence in all that they do.
