Kings continue winning streak with victory over Rangers, extend home winning streak to 9 out of 10 games

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings continued their impressive streak by defeating the New York Rangers 3-1 at Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday night. The Kings extended their franchise-record home points streak to 15 games and have won four straight contests. This victory marks their best 10-game stretch of the season and propels them to sole possession of second place in the Pacific Division. The Rangers, on the other hand, lost for the fourth time in their last five games and remain one point back of a wild-card berth.

Kevin Fiala and Phillip Danault scored power-play goals for the Kings, with Fiala adding an empty-netter to seal the win. Goaltender Darcy Kuemper made 22 saves, while J.T. Miller scored the Rangers’ only goal. The Kings’ home dominance continued as they tied a franchise record for wins at home this season. Despite losing Tanner Jeannot to injury, the Kings were able to protect their lead in the third period and secure the win.

The Kings will travel to Denver to face the Colorado Avalanche next on Thursday.
