Lauren Betts led the UCLA women’s basketball team to a dominating 84-66 win over Rutgers with 25 points, 13 rebounds, and five blocks. UCLA remains undefeated at 19-0 and one of two unbeaten teams in the country. Betts has been a force on both ends of the court, with 21 blocks in her last three games. The Bruins pulled away in the second quarter behind Betts, going on a 20-6 run. They controlled the game, outrebounding Rutgers and dominating in the paint. Destiny Adams had 15 points and 13 rebounds for Rutgers, but they were unable to keep up with UCLA’s strong performance. UCLA has been on the road due to wildfires in Los Angeles, and they go on to face No. 8 Maryland on their East Coast swing. This win adds to their impressive season record and solidifies their position as a top team in the nation.
