Daily News presents: The ultimate guide to watching from home

The 136th annual Rose Parade is set to take place in Pasadena, California, with impressively-decorated floats, musical performances, and beloved traditions. For those watching from home, The Pasadena Star-News staff has compiled a guide for viewing options and live-streaming the parade on their YouTube channel.

This year’s parade will feature floats with themes ranging from post-military life to the musical Wicked, along with performances by Kiesza, Aloe Blacc, Debbie Gibson, and various marching bands. The theme of the parade is “Best Day Ever!” with a focus on spreading joy and positivity.

Tennis legend Billie Jean King will serve as the grand marshal, leading the parade and the following Rose Bowl game featuring Ohio State and No. 1 Oregon. The Rose Queen for 2025 is Lindsay Charles, a Pasadena local with a passion for community, sustainability, and track and field.

The parade will kick off at 8 a.m. PST on New Year’s Day, with the game to follow on Monday at 2 p.m. PST. Be sure to tune in for this floral extravaganza and celebration of tradition and creativity.
