Thousands of Oasis tickets that were resold on the secondary market will be relisted on Ticketmaster at face value, with over 50,000 tickets being canceled. This move comes after tickets for the band’s reunion tour were being sold at inflated prices on resale sites. In an effort to combat ticket scalping, Oasis had previously announced that tickets could only be resold at face value using Ticketmaster or Twickets.
The high demand for Oasis tickets is attributed to the band’s reunion after 15 years and the Gallagher brothers’ history of feuding. Fans had difficulty securing tickets when they first went on sale, with some tickets being listed for up to $7,800 shortly after becoming available. In response, Oasis has taken steps to ensure tickets are sold to loyal fans rather than scalpers.
During the ticket sale for the U.S. leg of the tour, a fan-focused questionnaire was implemented, and dynamic pricing was avoided to improve the ticket buying experience. Similar measures were taken for the Australian leg of the tour, where resale prices were capped at 10% above the original value.
Oasis’ ’25 Live’ tour will kick off in the U.K. and Ireland in July 2025, followed by dates in North America. The band will perform in Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and New Jersey during their North American leg.Overall, Oasis is taking steps to prioritize fans and prevent ticket scalping to ensure that tickets are accessible at face value to loyal supporters.
